Project Timeline
2009 – Official launch of Skywheel Project. Creation of website, non-profit corporation. Work with aerospace engineers to design satellite. Promote project, research and development. Accept submissions of sacred text, presentations of project.
2010 – 2012 Fabricate satellite and create sacred symbols design for outer shell. Work with Skywheel Oversight Committee to finalize body of sacred text. Prepare text for inclusion in satellite and create accompanying artwork. Raise awareness of the project at venues around the world.
2012 – Completion of the Skywheel satellite and its contents. First official dedication of Skywheel Project.
2012 – 2015 Exhibit Skywheel Satellite, artwork and documentary materials at public venues, art institutions and religious venues across the globe.
2014 – Dedication of satellite at the Parliament of the World’s Religions.
2015 – Launch of satellite into space.
2015 -- 2022 Seven year duration of satellite orbit.
