Led by the conceptual art duo United Catalysts,The Skywheel Project mission is to build, exhibit, and launch into orbit the world’s first Prayer Wheel Satellite, a vessel containing sacred text and symbols representing all the spiritual communities on Earth.

Once built, the Skywheel will be exhibited across the globe and dedicated in ceremonies created by spiritual groups around the world, each in their own tradition. The satellite will then be launched into orbit 1,000 kilometers above the earth, where it will circle our planet for the next 1,000 years and serve as symbol of respect for the diversity of our spiritual explorations, and a symbol of blessing and healing for the Earth, our home.
