COMPONENTS

Teams of artists, scientists, spiritual leaders and practitioners, researchers, and regular folks from around the world are lending their energy to collectively create the Skywheel Project. While the launch of the Skywheel satellite is the focal point of this historic project, there are many other components that are in action now.

Arts and Creativity
An integral part of the Skywheel Project involves the creation of new art, music, poetry, and dance. These creative offerings will be highlighted throughout the course of the project in a variety of performances, workshops and exhibitions. Skywheel-inspired art will also be on display in an online companion exhibition, and accompanying catalogue. Some of these works are available for purchase to help support the project.

Connection with the Sacred
Teams of research volunteers are inviting spiritual leaders and every day people from around the world to share with us their most holy prayers and sacred symbols. As we progress in this outreach process, we are sharing our discoveries on the Skywheel website, our blog and facebook pages, and at the completion of our collection, in a companion book.

Cultural Dialogue
The Skywheel Project creates a focal point for much needed cross-cultural discussion and interfaith dialogue. It does this with an emphasis on our shared sense of sacred experience, and with the goals of creating openness and understanding between communities, and shared responsibility and stewardship of the Earth. Through public lectures, our spiritual representatives network, and participation in conferences, panel discussions and online forums, we invite an open-ended investigation of our selves and our relationship to the sacred.

Visualization
The Skywheel is a sacred tool for connecting with that which is greater than ourselves. Even before it is completed and launched, anyone can use the Skywheel as a tool for meditation. You can visualize the prayers and blessed intentions of everyone on Earth radiating out from the orbiting Skywheel, streaming down to bless you, your family and your community. Then visualize everyone on Earth and our beautiful world receiving this benefit, healing our wounds and strengthening us all as we move toward peace, harmony and health for our planet.
