The mission of the Skywheel Project is to build, exhibit and launch the world’s first prayer wheel satellite, a sacred object that will orbit the planet for over a thousand years, and will serve as a symbol of respect for the diversity of our planet’s spiritual expressions, and a symbol of blessing and healing for the Earth, our home.

The Skywheel Satellite will contain prayers, mantras, blessings and sacred text representing the wisdom all of the world’s spiritual traditions. Inspired by a meditational tool used in Tibetan Buddhism called a prayer wheel, the satellite will radiate blessings to all the Earth as it spins and orbits the planet.
